The film centers on a socially conscious author, played by the famous actor Soumitra Chatterjee, who is nearing the end of his life. 

As his final wish, the author decides to uncover the "truth" about the lives of the women in a brothel to portray their stories accurately. 

The narrative explores the struggles for existence faced by those deprived by the privileged class. 

The cast also includes actors Bhaskar Banerjee and Debolina Dutta.
